Hi!

Apple just changed CEOs for only the second time since 2000.

Tim Cook stepped down after 15 years, and John Ternus took over as the company's eighth chief executive. That number surprised me — I'd always thought of Apple's story as Steve Jobs, then Tim Cook. Eight is a lot more than two.

So this week I went digging into Apple's full leadership history, and I'm sharing what I found.

Quick Tip

Having too many lists in Apple Reminders? You can organize them with folders — Apple calls them Groups. They act as folder-like containers that let you bundle your lists together by theme.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Press and hold a list until it pops out and you can move it.

  2. Drag this list directly on top of another list you want to group it with.

  3. Release the list, and a pop-up will ask you to name the new Group. Give it a name.

  4. Tap Create.

Now when you tap on the folder, you'll have one dedicated view that combines all your lists into one place.

A Note from me

Apple Event is this Wednesday, and I'll be watching closely. I'm hoping to finally upgrade my Apple Watch — mine's getting old — and I'm curious what else gets announced. I'll be posting live on Threads.

See you soon!
