Hi!
Most people open an app to find what they need. A better setup puts the right part of the app in front of you before you open it.
For me, that means three things from Reminders: my Inbox, my Your Day list and my recurring tasks. In Notes, it's the folders and notes I'm actively working in. Apple Notes and Reminders are the center of my everyday life, so I want quick access to the parts I use most.
I get that with built-in iPhone widgets and Widget Stacks. No extra apps, just a Home Screen organized around what I need and when I need it.
This week I'm sharing the full guide to setting it up on your iPhone, step by step.

Quick Tip
Apple Watch can now show your daily step count right on the watch face. How to add it:
Touch and hold the watch face, then tap Edit.
Swipe left or right until you reach Complications.
Tap the slot where you want your steps.
Scroll to Activity and choose Daily steps.
Your steps are visible at a glance, with no need to open the Activity app. Requires watchOS 27.

A Note from me
A small milestone this week: my ebook, The Simple Apple System, is now in the Apple Books store. It's built around one idea: you can run work, life and side projects with the native Apple apps you already have. No new apps, no extra subscriptions.
If you haven't picked it up yet, you can get it here: The Simple Apple System on Apple Books
